As a charity focused on taking action to improve the habitat for pollinators in the City of London, PLT is raising awareness of biodiversity issues, promoting pollinators, and taking actions to improve the use of green spaces, roofs, and walls to help deliver biodiversity corridors and improve the health and wellbeing of pollinators and people. 

PLT activities have been recognised through support from the City of London Corporation, livery companies, and numerous generous individuals.  PLT holds a range of events each year as part of its activities, ranging from formal events with expert speakers, to social dinners and educational gatherings.  

PLT has received sponsorship for its events to date from a range of enterprises, livery companies and individuals. As a network organisation based on collaborative action, PLT is focused on creating long-term relationships for the betterment of pollinators, the City of London, and the people who visit, live, work in it.
