Complementing PLT’s exhibition at Cannon Place, on 28 March 2023 PLT held a Lunch & Learn event on the plight of pollinators, PLT’s activities, and what everyone can do it help. Both the exhibition and the Lunch & Learn were sponsored by CMS UK.
The Lunch & Learn provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Pollinating London Together and our mission to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity and pollinators and their substantial recent decline, and to create spaces in central London where all the natural pollinators can thrive.
Attendees received presentations from PLT’s leadership and scientists, including :
- John Burton, Chairman, Pollinating London Together
- Dr Heather Barrett-Mold OBE, Vice Chair, Pollinating London Together
- Konstantinos Tsiolis, Researcher and Ecologist, Pollinating London Together
Attendees were also able to engage in a Q+A and further discussion on PLT’s work.
