Not-for-Profit Partnerships
Enhancing green spaces in London where all natural pollinators can thrive, and their habitats can be enjoyed by all.
Not-for-Profit Partnerships
Working Together for Urban Biodiversity
Pollinating London Together collaborates with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations that share a commitment to protecting biodiversity and strengthening the ecological resilience of cities. Many of our partners steward historic gardens, community green spaces, educational environments and cultural institutions that provide valuable habitats for pollinators. Through collaboration, these spaces become part of a wider network supporting urban biodiversity.
Why Collaboration Matters
Urban biodiversity depends on connected habitats and shared stewardship. Not-for-profit organisations play an important role by managing green spaces and gardens, engaging local communities, providing educational opportunities, preserving historic landscapes and supporting environmental awareness. Together, these spaces form part of a growing network of pollinator-friendly environments across London.
Ways Not-for-Profit Organisations Can Collaborate
- Provide Pollinator Habitat: gardens, courtyards and managed landscapes can provide essential forage and nesting resources for wild pollinators
- Host Monitoring and Research: sites can contribute to pollinator surveys, citizen science initiatives and biodiversity monitoring programmes
- Support Education and Outreach: partnerships can help deliver environmental learning through workshops, school visits, guided walks and public events
- Share Knowledge and Expertise: historic gardens, heritage landscapes and specialist organisations bring valuable insight into planting, habitat management and environmental stewardship
- Join the Pollinator Network: by participating in PLT initiatives, organisations help create a connected network of urban habitats supporting pollinators across the city
Our Not-for-Profit Partners
We are grateful to work with a diverse group of organisations whose gardens, landscapes and community initiatives support pollinators and biodiversity. Our current not-for-profit partners include: Barbican Wildlife Garden, Better Bankside, Chelsea Physic Garden, Christ’s Hospital, Historic Royal Palaces, Lady Masters Association, Treloar’s, and others.
Building a Connected Urban Ecosystem
No single garden or organisation can support biodiversity alone. By linking together historic sites, community spaces, educational institutions and green spaces, we can create a network of habitats that allows pollinators to move, feed and thrive across the city. Collaboration makes urban ecosystems stronger.
