Pollinating London Together (PLT) is a UK registered charity (number 1201781) founded in 2020 that protects wild pollinators and urban biodiversity in London through science, education and practical action.
By bringing together businesses, schools, communities, civic organisations and the public, we are building healthier, more resilient cities for pollinators and people.

Pollinators are essential to healthy ecosystems…
They support the reproduction of flowering plants, help maintain urban green spaces, and contribute to food production and biodiversity. Yet many wild pollinator species are under pressure due to habitat loss, urban development, pesticide use and climate change.

How Can I Get Involved With PLT?
There are many ways to get involved. Individuals can volunteer at events, take part in citizen science through the Annual Pollinator Count, or donate to support our projects. Businesses and Livery Companies can become partners or members, schools can access our education programmes and resources, and charities, trusts and academic institutions can collaborate with us on research and habitat projects.

Is PLT a Registered Charity? How Is PLT Funded?
Yes. Pollinating London Together is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number 1201781, and is governed by a board of trustees in line with Charity Commission guidelines. Our work is funded through corporate partnerships, charitable donations, project sponsorship and grants. Livery Companies join as members free of charge and support our work through collaboration, expertise, in-kind contributions and voluntary donations.
